Constructive Goal Setting
Together with the assistance and motivation of Elgin Academy (in particular Lesley Paterson) we have set up a way of using NLP for clear and well thought out motivation with teenagers and we can use it with other age groups, either in a group or individual setting. Beware - it requires some work, but the results far outweigh any work you might need to do.
We can train you to use this technique effectively, on an ongoing basis, providing a skill for life for you and others. After all if you wander around umfocussed in life, you may only get what you focus on - nothing, lots of bitty things, everything I don't want.

The goal setting technique is important in enabling teenagers (and others) to be clear about what they want out of life and enabling them to think about what they might want out of life if they don't know, yet, how about asking them or yourself "What kind of a person do you want to be?", that question provides focus.
Learning this technique encourages teamwork amongst teenagers, as they learn to support and encourage their peers and how they and others think - highlighting strenghts and weaknesses and promoting friendship and support.
We also work with teenagers on confidence, eliciting and dealing with learning blocks and finding new strategies for getting up in the morning, getting into school, approaching life and learning in a different way.
I remember all to clearly being a teenager and the "angst" it brought with it, I believe teenagers are our future and they like some guidance and they benefit from individual guidance. We can help you with that with NLP.
