So who or what is or are NLP Highland?
Well we used to write all kinds of things about NLP lineage and lots of interesting NLP names – NLP Highland has Associates click here to see a diverse group of people who work together, sometimes using NLP, and sometimes doing what they do and we use NLP and the LAB Profile alongside what they do.
For Rosie training etc. you could read the top of this page, on a personal note, I am a Mum, a Granny, and in 2011 I married my partner, scary for two widowed people! In 2010 I completed my first hand sewn kilt, I like to sing (Jazz, or 60s stuff, or the Beatles) and I have a plan to buy a new motorbike. In early 2009 I encountered breast cancer, now a little “breast-less", my second book on using NLP in respect of cancer is available from us here. Two more books are on the way this year.
I consciously came to NLP (having read about it before) at a networking event in Stockton on Tees in 1994, whilst running the second business in my life (the first was a bakery and delicatessen with my first husband). Being a woman of the age that when we got married, we gave up what we did for a living, my life has been varied and different.
So 1994 I met NLP and people who ‘did NLP’ for the first time, at that time I wanted to improve the German language teaching I had kind of ‘fallen into’ for engineers and small children. What I very quickly realised was that NLP was really useful to use on me, to get rid of my personal blocks that were in the way of expanding my business, solving problems for myself and the business, and enabling other people to become more proficient in German, as well as translating safety instructions into language that meant that the number of accidents reduced considerably.
NLP has helped me be clear about where I want to be in life, it has helped me work with life’s traumatic incidents and all of this including what must be 1,800 (yes one thousand eight hundred) hours of personal training and CPD make me good at what I do and how I do it.
I have experience of business in the UK and Germany, I have worked in an office environment, a factory (well a couple of them), a craft bakery, a technical office, in a restaurant, and I have chased other people’s money for them, all of this enables me to understand people and working environments, and pressures. Using my skills I am in the position to enable you to achieve what is right for your company and for you. I have been described as ‘feisty’, ‘direct’, as ‘making every delegate feel part of the course’, a ‘Super NLP Trainer’, ‘very personable, relaxed and informative on NLP’, 'very good at sending just enough encouragement without bombardment' – my thoughts are: you will get from NLP what you put into the training, coaching, personal development, and from me you will get my vast knowledge and help (and some humour)– what you then do with it is up to you. On the one hand only you will know how you might benefit, on the other hand click on the links to our testimonial pages and read what others have to say.
