Trainers - Rosie O'Hara and others.
Accreditation will only be given to participants who have attended for the required period and who show that they have learned and practised, and are practising the skills required on the course.
Participants are required to complete regular assignments and will receive regular assessments (this also applies to us as well). Plus a written and taught modelling project. A fundamental part of the course is your modelling project, in which you model a skill you don't have, break it down in NLP terms and teach it to others, and produce a written, bound and illustrated report, and provide this as a Word document for use by NLP Highland.
Like to be one of the best and most thorough Master Practitioners of NLP in the UK?
Like to be not just a Master Practitioner of NLP but a Professional Guild of NLP Master Practitioner?
Prepared to be active about learning and using your NLP?
Like to have a qualification equivalent to SCQF Level 8?
Then this course is for you.
This course provides the answer to what NLP can do for you - The heart of NLP is modelling excellence, when we learn how to model we learn how to find the resources (which might include beliefs, attitude, emotional state, skills, sense of self and purpose) that we need, when and where we want them. Each participant will work on their own choice of modelling project throughout the whole course. This course will encourage you to live life to the full and to realise your true vocation in all that you do. We learn continuously from what is happening in our work and in our lives today. This is NLP applied to life and work.
Outcomes
By the end of the course you will be able to:
- Recognise the structure of your own and others experience so that you can reproduce and achieve the excellence that you want with consistency
- Discover how to make the things you do with an unconscious elegance more available to you consciously so that you can access that excellence when you choose
- Learn how to transfer that excellence across your own lives and to others who wish to achieve the same kind of results
- Recognise and release the true potential within yourself and in others with whom you come into contact
- Discover your inner truth so that you can present yourself to the world at large in a way that is compelling and influential
- Learn what you are capable of being and the key ways in which you can differentiate ourselves in everything you do in all aspects of your work and life
- Develop and discover your connectedness with everyone around you and as such enhance your thinking and acting.
- Find ways of consistently reproducing the excellence that you discover within yourselves and others and coach yourselves and others to do so
- Know your unique mission, values and purpose in a way that you know your core ideology irrespective of changes that occur around you
Course Content includes
- Linguistic Change Processes
- Sleight of Mouth
- Mastering Change Processes
- Self-modelling
- Change patterns for self and others
- Language for conflict resolution
- Meta Programs and the LAB Profile
- Value Systems
- Supervised work with 3 clients to be discussed with each participant individually
Each participant will produce a written modelling project and teach this to one or more of the other participants on the last weekend of the course. The skill to be modelled, - must be one you have absolutely no knowledge of, must be modelled from 3 separate people who possess the skill. It is advisable that these people are not close relatives, friends or partners ;). This project and presentation account for 40% of the marks reached. Should anyone not achieve the required pass standard or miss weekends for whatever reason, they will be offered the opportunity to retake or cover any missed hours, or resubmit their modelling project at a later date at no extra cost.
All of our Master Practitioner courses entitle you to full membership of the UK Professional Guild of NLP (Quality Assured) or ANLP. You will be not just a Master Practitioner but a Professional Guild Master Practitioner.
Quotes from a previous participants.
The bi monthly training weekends with Rosie O’Hara allowed time to review and practice learning as well as completing written work, which is an integral part of the course. Client work develops your understanding of the type of techniques to use and when, with additional support from Rosie if required. The course deliberately had a small number of candidates on it which allowed more direct contact time with the trainer, a definite plus. Susan Raeper, Aberdeen
"Tools are important - I now have a better toolbox - for life and for changing the wheel on my car! And my flexiblity has increased 10 fold. But I remain curious"
Christine McClusky, Service Development Manager, NHS Centre for Telehealth.
"One of my first motives for finding our more about NLP was to find out how it might help me be a better trainer. I had originally been trained as an instructor by the RAF but when I experienced another similarly trained instructor respond to a student, who said he didn't understand" by flipping back 3 pages in the book he was using and then repeating the exact same words he used the first time - with the same result, I realised that it was primarily the instructor's job to make the subject understood. Confirming for me that the meaning of communication is the response you get.
This was the first time I became consciously aware of the potential incompetence of an instructor and although prior to this I didn't consider myself incompetent, I was certainly unconsciously aware about how competent or otherwise I was as an instructor (Joharri model). Since that experience, I had been searching for something more useful than course feedback sheets to help me improve my courses, my standard of instruction and the learning experience for course participants."
