Linda Birnie is a Master Practitioner of NLP. The day job has included, among other things, working for charities in Lothian and Highland as a manager, leading and developing the project, and supporting the learning and development of young people, and the delivery of sexual health and counselling services. These clients have included young people who have been homeless, people with learning disabilities, autism, physical disability, and sensory impairment and those who have been in trouble with the law, as well as those wishing counselling and advice around sexual health.

Linda has produced a selection of writings, including two books ‘Deep and Meaningless’ a collection of poetry and prose in Scots and English, and ‘Old Ellon’ a history of the town, as well as professional research papers and work based press articles. Linda comes from a farming background in Aberdeenshire and trained and worked in biological research at Aberdeen University. Her BSc, PhD and post doctoral studies focussed on hormonal control of aspects of reproduction and nutrition.

Linda uses NLP, in amongst other skills, as a tool in teaching and learning, project development and management, personal growth, and goal setting for herself and to assist other people.
