
Alasdair is a graduate in Law of Edinburgh University. After spending some years in administration in a large charitable organisation, Alasdair moved to Aberdeen College as a Lecturer in Business Studies where he stayed for nine years. In 1999, he took up a post of Personal Development Tutor with Momentum Scotland, supporting and motivating people recovering from brain injury to return to employment. This involved working with clients on areas such as communication, presentation and confidence building. He retired from full-time work in 2011.
Alasdair is a qualified Teacher of Business Studies (Further Education), a Licentiate of the City & Guilds of London in Training and Development and holds a taught doctoral degree in education from an overseas University. He has considerable experience of working both with groups and individuals and was an SVQ assessor and verifier. He is a published author of three student textbooks.
Alasdair has a life-long interest in the ethical use of hypnosis and hypnotic language. He holds the General Qualification in Hypnotherapy Practice and is a Registered Hypnotherapist (General Hypnotherapy Register).
Alasdair has a connection with NLP Highland going back to 2005. After attending a couple of two day courses, he went on to achieve NLP Practitioner in 2006 and NLP Master Practitioner in 2009. Since 2007, Alasdair has assisted Rosie on many of the Aberdeen training sessions.
