NLP for Business Diploma and more this one
“Since taking the NLP Business Diploma last October my home and business life have changed for the better. By learning much more about good communication relationships are much smoother and almost stress free. I have made significant changes to my business since then, and although it is not down entirely to Rosie I do think that the training was the catalyst. Rosie carried out LAB Profiles on myself and my staff, we now understand how each other ticks and work even better as a team. For the first time in fifteen years of being in business I am going on holiday and not feeling completely overwhelmed about what I should be doing before I go. If you have been doing the same thing for years, getting the same results, and now you want change Rosie, via NLP will help you on the right road. If you have an enquiring mind Rosie's NLP courses should be for you:

Testimonials from our last Orkney course
The venue had breath-taking views and I felt welcome in the house and a sense of belonging which opened me up to being even more curious than I normally am. I don't struggle with pre-conceived beliefs or ideas about people I have not met because I know they are capable, resourceful and full of surprises so I only expected good things/interactions from the other people on the course. I felt inspired by the others. I relished watching how they learnt, behaved, tested out the course content , challenged themselves and gave so openly of themselves. I felt part of something that was nurturing.
I enjoyed not being expected to read as I listened or to write as others spoke as when I'm learning I learn more when giving someone my full attention.
One of my biggest learning curves involved understanding the need to have well-formed outcomes in life. I couldn't come up with more than a couple of 'would like to' behaviour changes prior to the course. I have thought a lot about why this should be. I learnt that the only thing holding me back in my life was me and my negative thoughts and this realisation was profound. I know I am liked, loved and respected and I think I drew an imaginary line through my life that read 'and that is good enough'. Well yes it is but there is still room for more. Although I felt exhausted after the course, I can also feel an awakening that is making me more focused and productive.
I've used the learning to change my own mindset, to consider the language used in my field of work, language that I have never found inspiring or useful.
I also learnt that I have the resources I need for the life I want, much of it was there already but I forgot and that realisation has been awakened. I have forgiven myself for the things I didn't get right and given myself permission to expect a better life, a life where I thrive and have more fun with more to look forward to. I feel different. I feel more the 'me' that I know I am supposed to be.
In summary I learnt that much of what I knew was useful and much of it was not worth knowing. I realised that the universe does indeed have a wonderful sense of humour and I learnt that I am excited to live the rest of my life.

My thinking behind attending the course was that NLP would help me to communicate and understand myself and other people better both at work and in my personal relationships. Working in a team of people with very different personalities and behaviours where there is often conflict enabled me to see NLP as a possible solution/help to dealing with this on a daily basis. Being more confident in dealing with the daily work challenges and personal relationships interested me.
I found the first day of the course difficult and I had a headache by that evening. I felt very reluctant to return the next day. I did not like the different approach to training and challenges to my beliefs, behaviour, outcomes and the way I used language. It was only as the days progressed that I was able to understand NLP and practice these skills and I began to enjoy it. The 5 days felt long and tiring as well as intensive with so many new processes to learn and practice. By the end of the 5 days I felt relieved and also inspired by what I had had the opportunity to experience through NLP.
NLP has made me realise that my own personal outcomes need to be positive and specific. I can continue for years saying that “one day I want to do......” and I now realise that this is not going to be very effective or productive.

"This Diploma course helped have a new outlook on life, realise much more than before that I cannot change the world but can change myself. Gave me more self belief and confidence in myself and better rapport with other people. I would recommend this course for anyone who would want a more balanced life."

Here's a Diploma testimonial from Aberdeen 2010
I was recommended NLP as a Change Management Tool by an associate company– they suggested I should complete a NLP course to assist with the many challenges I was facing in my work and personal life.
I wanted a course that was credible – had accreditation, but also a course that was interactive and enjoyable at the same time and not just a series of lectures from an instructor that did not engage with me.
Through a website search I found NLP Highland – their courses fitted my requirement. I contacted Rosie O Hara who was supportive and very helpful with identifying a course that best fitted my learning needs. I also liked the NLP Highland approach to experiential learning, as their courses are structured over a number of months rather than being crammed into a week or so.
When I attended the first weekend I was not disappointed. Rosie’s approach to delivery is all what you would ideally want a course to be like. The NLP course is fun, interactive, and very informative, self paced – when it needs to be, very flexible and from my perspective Rosie makes every delegate feel part of the course.
I would recommend anyone interested in NLP to complete a course with Rosie at NLP Highland.
Rosie provides a learning journey, not just a one shot course. This approach and opportunity is unique – I have not seen this before, and is a key strength of NLP Highland and Rosie O’ Hara’s team.
I am now continuing my learning journey with Rosie having enrolled on the Practitioner course.

"I first got excited about NLP when I went along to a presentation given by Rosie O'Hara at an entrepreneur's event in Aberdeen. I came away feeling really positive and motivated about the future and the process of NLP.
It started me thinking about what I wanted to do with my life and what training I needed to take to make a more positive change in both my personal and professional lives.
I certainly have benefitted from attending the training and practising it in my everyday professional and personal life plus using it with my colleague. I can't wait to find out more and how it can enhance more of my life."

"I have been to a few motivating seminars run by Americans, attended by thousands. Whilst I got a lot out of them, I was uncomfortable with the hugging and the massaging each other and the hype they loaded you with over the day. Your feedback was from peers, but if you didn't really get it there was no extra support. I was looking forward to a smaller group with more one to one time with the expert. This was important to me as I really wanted to fully understand NLP and get a good grasp of the techniques.
One of the biggest challenges I am finding is putting it into practice. It's very easy to slip back into previous behaviour. This is something I need to focus on. I also get extremely frustrated sometimes with other people. I forget that they haven't undergone the same education and self development that I have experienced. I listen to the way people speak to each other and how they mis- read communication and relationships break up. NLP should be a part of everyone's education (I'm an idealist!!) what a different world we could create!"
